We believe it is good medical practice for all women to have routine cervical smears every three years. Women will normally receive invitations and notification of results by post. The smears are routinely taken by the Practice Nurses. View the Westcroft House Cervical Smear Leaflet
Health services for children and young people are delivered by a team of Health Visitors, School Nurses and a Community Nursery Nurse who cover the South Copeland locality.
You can contact the health visiting service on 01946 820203. If, at anytime, a health visitor is unavailable, you can leave a message with Reception and a member of the team will contact you on their return.
Assessments on six week old babies are carried out at the surgery.
